Megan began her journey in veterinary medicine after always having a deep love for animals. As a child, she would pore over her big book of dog breeds and knew she wanted a career that let her care for pets. After moving to North Carolina, she started fostering dogs and quickly realized how much she enjoyed supporting animals in need. That experience, along with encouragement from a friend, inspired her to change careers from preschool teaching to veterinary medicine. Megan officially joined the Hambright team in September and is excited to grow her career here - maybe even becoming an RVT someday!
What Megan enjoys most about her job is being a source of comfort for pets and their families. She loves making sure animals feel cared for and supported when they’re away from home, especially during times when they need a little extra love.
Megan grew up in Central Pennsylvania and credits her grandmother as one of her biggest influences. Today, her family includes her boyfriend and their pack of beloved dogs. Their senior pup, Roxy, is always ready with kisses for everyone she meets. Enzo is full of energy and loves his “outfit of the day,” while Shadow never strays far from his people. Kenzi is the queen of couch snuggles, and Wyatt is the ultimate cuddle bug. Together, they keep life full of love, laughter, and a little bit of mischief.
