Dr. Lindsay Kendrick

Dr. Kendrick grew up in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. She earned her Bachelors in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2006. Throughout her undergraduate career, she volunteered at a marine rescue center in Portland Maine, helping care for seal pups who were being rehabilitated and prepared for release. After graduation, she moved south to sunny Florida to escape the long New England winters.

In Jacksonville Florida, Dr. Kendrick worked as a veterinary assistant at a busy referral hospital for nearly three years. She learned from internists and oncologists and worked hard to help the pets under her care. In her spare time, she volunteered at the veterinary hospital at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, gaining experience with a wide variety of animals. From Jacksonville, she moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Gators!) She earned her veterinary medical degree in 2013 and has worked in small animal practice in the Charlotte area since moving here shortly after graduation.

Dr. Kendrick has made Stallings her home with her husband Mike, their son Liam, and three dogs – a shepherd mix named Katie, a lab mix named Emmie, and a crazy pit bull named Brody. In her spare time, she enjoys running, baking, reading, the occasional trip to the beach, and checking out the local restaurants and breweries.

While she loves all pets, Dr. Kendrick especially enjoys working with older pets and big goofy dogs. Her favorite thing about her job is seeing a wide variety of ailments, but she is passionate about preventive care. She will do her best to ensure your pet is properly protected against parasites and infectious diseases.
