Dr. Marguerite Gleason graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She relocated to Charlotte, NC where she has practiced since 2003. She has owned several veterinary hospitals in the Carolinas with a focus on referral and advanced dentistry but has continued to practice general practice medicine and surgery because she loves it so much. In her spare time she most enjoys being an involved Mom with her two very active young sons, worldwide travel, photography, eating exotic foods and outdoor activities. She has 1 furry child, a Golden Retriever named Maguire, who is a certified therapy dog. She also cares for three sweet indoor kitties.
Her professional interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology. She is has been on the Board of Directors with the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association as the Greater Charlotte Area representative for the past 6 years. She was named the NCVMA Young Veterinarian of the Year in 2009. Dr. Gleason was recognized as Charlotte Magazine’s “Top Vet” in the field of small animal dentistry. Dr. Gleason has taught classes and lectured throughout the Carolinas teaching other veterinarians and their teams how to improve the veterinary dental services they provide for their patients.
