Cari

RVT – Registered Veterinary Technician

Cari grew up near Storrs, Connecticut. She moved to Charlotte in 1995 to attend UNCC as a biology major. She soon realized she wanted to have a career as a veterinary technician and graduated from Gaston College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2001. Growing up she always had a strong love for all animals and was very involved with horseback riding. She worked in small animal practice for the first 13 years of her veterinary career with a focus in animal behavior and nutrition. She taught puppy kindergarten classes and helped families with in-home training as well. She then moved on to teaching our next generation of veterinary technicians in the Gaston College Veterinary Technology program. You could also find her working in the emergency room and ICU of one of our local emergency/specialty hospitals in Charlotte. She decided to return to small animal general practice in 2018 and joined our Hambright Team. She lives in Harrisburg with her son and energetic cattle dog/Australian shepherd mix named Luke Skywalker. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog, visiting the whitewater center, live music, movies, and watching her son playing baseball.
